Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This policy explains what Technology Outlaws LLC ("Technology Outlaws," "we," "us") collects when you visit technologyoutlaws.com, why, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing website only. Products deployed for customers — including Marcella — run inside the customer's own Microsoft/Azure tenant under a separate agreement; customer data governed by that deployment does not flow to this website.

1. Who we are

Technology Outlaws LLC · 2747 E University Dr, Unit 31416 · Mesa, AZ 85275, USA · technologyoutlaws@gmail.com. For the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR, Technology Outlaws is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you provide and what is needed to run the site:

  • Information you submit — when you use the contact / "Request Gap Review" form: your name, organization, work email, role, and the message you write.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics (consent-based only) — if, and only if, you accept analytics cookies in the banner, we collect anonymized page-view and engagement data. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics script is loaded. See Section 5.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. We do not collect special-category data through this site.

3. How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, provide requested information, keep the site secure, and — where you have consented — understand which content is useful so we can improve it. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers.

4. Contact form processing

Form submissions are transmitted through Formspree (formspree.io), which delivers them to us by email. We do not retain submission data on our own servers beyond the email record needed to respond. Formspree's processing in transit is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies and analytics

The site sets no non-essential cookies until you choose. On your first visit you will see a banner with equal "Accept" and "Decline" options. Nothing about "Decline" degrades the site.

If enabled and accepted, analytics is provided by Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). In that configuration it is loaded only after consent, with IP anonymization on, Google Signals and advertising features off, Google's Data Processing Terms accepted, and the shortest practical data-retention window. Google LLC is self-certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides the legal basis for any resulting transfer of data to the United States; the legal basis for the collection itself is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. You can withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Google's handling of the data is described in Google's privacy policy.

Essential cookies — we store a single record of your cookie choice so we do not ask again. This is strictly necessary and set regardless of your analytics choice.

6. Legal bases (GDPR)

Contact form: performance of pre-contract steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)). Security logging: legitimate interest in protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.

7. Data retention

We keep contact information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a business relationship, then delete it. Analytics data is retained for the shortest interval configured in the analytics tool. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any right, email technologyoutlaws@gmail.com. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above.
